I'm not an album guy so usually I just buy one or two song from bandcamp or amazon digital store but recently I really enjoyed soundtrack of solo leveling. so I bought CD of it. People say streaming is convinient but storing music file on the device is still better to me. because when I plug in usb and send the file It's in my android phone. If streaming app glitches, I have to re-download all music for offline. actually streaming app became laggy with too many offline downloads. but mp3 player app is fine with too many offline downloads. also mp3 player app is more lightweight. It has more way to organize the library (like genre tags)

I have 3 vintage setups (50s, 60s, and 80s), with 2 turntables and an excellent CD player. Also have a Bluetooth speaker (portable) to remind me how awesome the vintage sound, sounds.

I have tons of Cd's to but I will not be buying anymore. All the great music has been done and I will stay with that.

It is all preference. Whatever works for you but a great turntable and cartridge set up correctly is priceless.

No it's not worth 900 $cdn ,what a farce ! 450 $cdn and not on sale ! It's a shouty shitty speaker .The people that praise it haven't heard anything higher up ! Almost 1000 $ for a shitty box ,no bracing ,a 10$ tweeter in a plastic ''horn'' with a crappy crossover network .Remember it's 600USD$ ! shopping experience is a thing of the past for the most part Theaters will do better and it is being targeted by streaming as well. Theater is more memorable than streaming. Concerts are more memorable. T-shirts are more the way people display taste. It was physical collections and posters. I seen a lot of females with Def-Leppard shirts. I hope they went to the concert in 2019. Hoping you have the item someone wants. Hoping you can keep it in mint condition. Hoping crime isn't a problem. Seriously. The days of mall first policing is over. Mall Cop the movie was an indicator. Mall need suddenly to police its own stores. I saw a meme of no theft over $300 posted in cities. It is almost like Amazon and Ebay control policies.

I have a 1992 technics SL-PG500A that still rocks, easy to open, clean the lense, every 2 years, and it's back to it's best. I am not sure though which DAC is inside, if anyone knows...thanks you :)

I love vinyl as an sound medium, but I also love CDs for certain reasons that pertain to audio, but the biggest reason for me buying CDs still is to own a physical medium of my favorite music, but not spending the 2-3x cost of vinyl records, sometimes 4-5x more. Haven’t gone the DSD route yet, but I hear the audio quality is superior- but what about the tangibles!

I got these about 6 weeks ago. Incredible speakers. Beautiful articulate sound. I love them without a sub but I also bought a REL Tzero sub, hooked up at Amp level. Simply Amazing together. These sound better than the LS 50 Meta's. I tried several speakers IN my home before falling in love with the Sonus Fabers. Truman Sleeps is so good. Try Leonard Cohen Going Home and Peter Gabriel I/O Four Kinds of Horses (DARK side) thru these. FYI there are also a newer Amator version for $1499.

The reason why I never was really sold to the idea of streaming...either for music or for movies. Being a collector and having been a dj back in the days, I've always hated the idea of not having the physical copy at my disposal and having to be at the mercy of the streaming platforms or services. For movies, they may end up removing some of your previous selections just to make space for new content. Which you may want to watch again but are no longer available. For music streaming, it's even worse often with the annoying ads they have to push. However, although I would have the physical copy of an album, I'd convert the songs to mp3 files for my phone, my car and other flash drives for usage and leave the disc safely stowed away in a safe place, which helps preserve that physical copy.

No e podido a la fecha encontrarme un álbum de algún artista que me guste completamente todas las pistas, en mi opinión personal pagar por lo que solamente se va a escuchar es lo ideal, ya que tienes también control de lo que no te gusta y no pagas por ello, además que en streaming es muchísimo las fácil tenerlo todo.

Mostly, that is. Hel, here's why i thought so. I thought i would not be able to even find the first demo music i heard from my family's first 'modern' stereo unit. That cassette and music was lost for decades after. But i still remembered the tune. That was in the early 80's in cassette form. But many years to about a decade of trying the odds.... WALLAH! Some unknown user did upload it eventually. Iiiiiincredible. Thought it'd become a rare piece and amazingly just the right keywords showed me the right door back again over some time. See, the end result is what matters. When you buy the CD, you have it in collection. But your need is to be able to listen to the contents (or watch). So all you need is a good speaker system or with display to keep you entertained. The output as being the end result to be satisfied with. Now suppose you don't have the CDs but have heard of the music or seen the contents from another person's, these times you will still be able to find them available elsewhere too. Of course that meaning the content of the CD was mass produced and released to public earlier. Then you won't be the only one owning it. If the CD was for sentimental value, then that is all it is for but it won't bring much benefit other than staying for memories sake. By saying that, i'm not encouraging another to buy less CDs howeverso. That'll kill the professional content creators. We need you. Yessss, we neeeeeed yooooou. A hee hee heeeeee. 😈
